Chained to Heaven

Suspended in Hope
Yielding slight unfocus
Reaching for the promise of a moment
Untempered. Untested.

Wrestling the profane for uncontested relief

Adjusting slight focus
Suspension corroding belief
Reaching for the promise of a moment
Undetermined. Undetected.

Wrestling the profane for unconformable release

Suspended in Heaven
Slight motion repeat
Reaching for the promise of a moment
Forgotten. Neglected.

Chained to Heaven

Wrestling the the profane for distilled peace

you are not wrestling alone. You wrestle along with those who have have tasted the relief, the release, and the peace. We can tell you it is worth it. so worth it.

I hope you don't mind that I comment, one of my favorite things about writing, especially poetry is that for me its what the reader gets out of it, ya know? I don't know, what this really means to you, I can speculate, but I know what it speaks to me... I don't really wanna touch on this one, too personal, but I do want to say it moved me. But just to let ya know, I enjoy giving you my interpretation of your poems. Not as much as I love reading them of course!!
